“What would I say to someone who’s considering working with me?”

I have known Tom for nearly 15 years, and I don’t think I would be sitting here

today if it wasn’t for him. I was in a terrible place when we first met, my 29-year relationship with my

husband had come to an abrupt end, I was left to care for my 14- and 15-

year-old daughters. I really can’t describe how badly my life stated to spiral out of control; I became

dependent on alcohol to get me through the day and night. Upon leaving rehab this is where I met Tom. He is an absolutely incredible

person to talk to; he made complete sense of my madding thoughts. He helped

me to see clearly and understand why I was feeling so bad. Tom really listens to

me he made me open up about what I was actually feeling when I didn’t know

myself. Tom is extremely kind with his time, when I do have my moments of despair, he is always at the end of the phone and there is never a problem for me to go

and sit with him. I always feel so much better after our chats. He doesn’t only help me, if has helped a lot of my friends when there were not

in a good place, sometimes I would feel terrible asking him, but it has never

been a problem to him to have a chat with them. Tom again, thanks for this. When I was on the road of recovery my daughter had a terrible time with

alcohol, She was really in a bad way but I she really wanted to be well, I

was falling apart inside, but Tom was there for both me and my daughter.

Today, my daughter is doing so well, has a beautiful 18-month-old son, who is

a complete delight and I myself am doing extremely well, I have a very

responsible job in construction, which I really enjoy, and I am mortgage free.

I know Tom will always be in my life, I wish him the absolute best with his work, we will all be in a better place for this kind, warm, caring, funny person. Thanks, Tom, for everything. You’re for every grateful Friend. B.K.
